Yvonne and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary yesterday. It's so hard to believe that it's been 20 years since we married. Where has the time gone?
It's been a wonderfully eventful 20 years. There's been so much: finishing college, career success and big changes, car accidents and rehab and doctors' visits, parenting the greatest kid ever, moving numerous times, new and old friends, family, "risking it all" in full-time ministry, traveling and traveling and traveling, singing and speaking for 20 or 1000, part-time jobs, church work and church planting, pastoring and praying and laughing and crying and wondering and hoping and trusting the Lord through it all.
I'm thankful for my amazing wife and for these first 20 years and the many memories we share. But today --- day one of the 21st year of our marriage --- i'm not looking back. I'm focusing on what lies ahead and what God has for us in the next 20 years. I know it's going to be great. We appreciate (and need) your prayers!
