Survived

Survived the spend-the-night birthday party with the seven teenage girls. Dinner at Fuddrucker's in Greenville. My sister joined us. Off to the Mall where the girls went from trying on Cotillion dresses to Build-A-Bear. (That clearly explains this age.) There wasn't much sleep for any of us. Sounded like they finally went to sleep at 4 am. Back up at 8am.

The house was filled with more laughter than I've ever heard. That was actually really great --- even at 2 am. I'm thankful for Claire and the young woman she is becoming. God has his hand on her and I pray she walks in a way that it stays there as she continues to grow. She's been an incredible blessing for 15 years!

I'm sure we'll have cake soon. Didn't even cut it last night. They were too busy doing other things that girls do.
