Choices

It's been a couple of busy days. Sorry I haven't posted. Thanks for continuing to stop by!

It's Saturday morning and God reminded me once again that life is filled with choices. We all make them every day --- good or bad, right or wrong --- life boils down to choices.

I was reading in Psalm 119:30-32 and discovered this truth this morning:
"I have chosen the way of truth;
I have set my heart on your laws.

I hold fast to your statutes, O Lord;
do not let me be put to shame.
I run in the path of your commands,
for you have set my heart free."

I love how the writer says that he made four obvious, deliberate decisions:
- Chose the way of truth
- Set his heart on God's laws
- Held fast to God's statutes
- Ran in the path of God's commands

See what He did? He chose, set, held, and ran --- all in God's ways. He made God-centered choices and God set his heart free. The choices we make by ourselves lead to bondage. The choices we make with God lead to freedom.

I want freedom. I choose His ways today.

I hope you have a great weekend. If you're in Anderson, I hope to see you at Capstone tomorrow. It's going to be a great day!
